Over the past week, we have received many calls from individuals concerned about the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19) and how it will affect your wedding or your private booking with us.
We fully appreciate that these are very worrying times for everyone and the St. Augustine’s team feel strongly that we need to acknowledge this situation via our website and our social media platforms to keep you updated on what we plan to do in response to the new government guidelines.
We will be posting regular updates on this page to ensure you know exactly where you stand at all times, and what our proposed procedures will be if the situation is to escalate.
As troubling as this situation may be, we want to encourage you to remain calm.
We are here to support you, listen to your concerns and find a solution that is suitable.
Our most important message to individuals worrying about having to postpone your wedding or function is... don’t panic!
Unless we are advised by the government to stop all private gatherings of a certain number, our skilled team are here and ready to ensure your special day goes ahead as planned from start to finish.
However, If you decide that you would like to postpone your wedding or function for whatever reason, please give us as much notice as possible and we will do our upmost to ensure you can reselect a date that is best suited for you and all your guests.
Given the circumstances, we will try and be as flexible as possible so you are happy and most importantly, feel safe.
It is difficult to predict the longevity of the virus at this moment in time; however, we are very hopeful that if your wedding or function falls within this timeline that everything should proceed as normal, and therefore our advice for clients with a wedding or function booked within 2-4 months is to purely sit tight.
Whatever may unfold in the coming days or weeks, we will continue to publish updates that are relevant as much as we can.
