Chapel Blessings

The magnificent French-style Chapel at St. Augustine’s was built in the early 1900’s and contains 350-year-old carvings from Paris; not only creating an impressive setting for your blessing, but ensuring an unforgettable occasion.

In addition to the civil ceremony we are unique in that we have our own Chapel where you can have a civil ceremony with the Registrar and if you wish have a religious wedding blessing. This service can inject a religious dimension into an otherwise secular occasion.

Many of our couples have decided to have their blessing to coincide with the arrival of the evening guests thus enhancing their attendance on the special day. Another benefit is that it satisfies the religious needs that the couple may have.

A blessing may include hymns or songs, with traditional or modern readings, prayers and music. These may have a singular significance for you and may make your blessing special for you.  It may be adapted to meet your individual requirements.
